We had a Transit 15 passenger. Feedback was that it was very high and hard to get into. Maybe a step rail can be installed at the bottom. Or a portable step stool provided that can be stored in the van. Otherwise, it was a very nice van, and worked great for our needs.
I was surprised at how dirty the vehicle was when I picked it up. I also had a seatbelt that didn't work which was not cool because I had a van full of kids.
When families make reservations for a van and the website states that the price has been paid in full, I should not be told I am "lucky" there is a vehicle left for me to rent. Especially not after traveling with a 3 year old and 9 month old. I understand that "the business needs to make money" but you should always have AT LEAST the amount of vehicles that have confirmed reservations on the lot at all times. The value/price was wonderful but I will not be renting from here in the future.
Some minor issues with this rental. The most serious was the fact that the tank was only 7/8th's full. If I had the time, I would have returned to rectify this, but I was on a tight time frame. Also the van was dirty, interior wasn't up to snuff and there wasn't any fluid in the window washer system. This wouldn't have been an issue, but we were traveling up to Reno and there were a lot of bugs hitting the windshield, requiring us to stop occasionally to clean the window. Bigger discount?

We were extremely satisfied with the service we received. The staff was very courteous and went above and beyond to make our experience a good one. We rented an accessible van with a ramp. We were very happy to have it, our trip would have been difficult without it. However, the condition of the van could have been better. It was very clean but could have used a tuneup. Overall, we were still grateful and would use them again.
The van I rented in April was full electric this one was not. Not as convenient or nice.
Our roadtrip only became unfogettable one with the van we rent from AVR!
