Overall, a good experience. The only thing we were disappointed with was the pick up. It took over 30 minutes for a driver to pick us up. Initially, we were told it would 10 min, then 20, then 5...and still no driver. After the driver arrived, we realized he did not have enough room to accommodate the 6 people in our party. Needless to say, we were frustrated by lack of communication between driver, AVR and us.

The gentlemen who assisted us gave us a vehicle that needed to be serviced. We had to return to the location the next day to switch cars because our vehicle would not stop shaking as we drove it. The woman who assisted us for the switch was fantastic. But nonetheless it was a major inconvenience.

The van was great and the price was very reasonable. We were picked up promptly from the airport lot. The service in the office was very slow. With only one or two people ahead of us it took an hour to pick up the van. Even the return was painfully slow. They either need more employees or those that are there need to learn to hustle! Very inefficient.

We were not given the 15 passenger van that we had reserved. We had to deal with 2 mini vans. While that transported the people we needed, it was a hassle.

Upgraded to a van with wifi. Wifi didnt work during the trip. At return and when explained to the coutner staff, there was no interest in remedying the situation. 'Was told to go online. Really? AVR should empower their location staff to take care of customer's concerns. I still have no idea (or the time) how to go online and try to figure out what to do. The van rental itself was great.

Rear tires marginal. Chains need to be made available. Poor traction in snow and slopes and in Denver / Mountains that is the norm. Service from check agent was great. Real professional with customer service.

Rental process (pickup) took longer than it should have. Vehicle was not immediately ready to go and/or keys could not be found. Vehicle floor mats were EXTREMELY slippery to the point of being dangerous. Vehicle entry/exit was excessively high and a step-stool should have been provided or at least an option with the vehicle. I signed up for the shuttle service at time of rental. My shuttle reservation was not provided to the Best western, so I was very lucky they had space.
