The service was excellent and I would certainly consider renting again. The ONLY negative with the rental was there were no USB plug-ins for phone charging. On two occasions my phone needed to be charged and there was not an option because I didn't carry a lighter converter with me. Other than that, the rental was excellent and the price was great.
The only other inconvenience was it is not located with other car rentals and I had to walk with my luggage a block or so.

The Reps said they have free shuttle to Hobby airport,
Actually, they don't go Hobby Airport, so I have to take
Taxi.
If they told me they the shuttle don't go Hobby airport,
I would just flew from Bush Intercontinenl airport instead

I had chosen this rental company because of the pricing and availability. Upon arrival, everyone was VERY nice and helpful. They answered all of my questions and assisted me with any needs I may have had. Likewise on the return, the staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful. I will most certainly use this company anywhere while traveling. Exceptional all around!
1. Extra driver only drove for 7 days and I was told I would get a refund of $90 so I await that.
2. Back of car door would not open for two days and then suddenly did.
3. Drop off instructions are not clear, or at least I received a number of different instructions.
In all, though, a good car and perfect for my travel. I will use you again.

AVR was excellent. I found the rates very competitive and the guarantee from them that I would get a 4wd SUV was so important.
I would recommend them to anyone needing to rent a van or an SUV.

The only issue I had was the agent was insisting I take a van with an electrical issue. The car washer explained to him we didn't want it and found a better vehicle for us. Other than that it was a great experience. I rent from them every year this time.
