A seaport located on the Biscayne Bay in Miami, Florida, the Port-Of-Miami is connected to downtown Miami via a bridge over the Intracoastal Waterway. The port is located on Dodge Island, and is known as the "Cargo Gateway of America." It is also often referred to as the "Cruise Capital of the World", with many visitors to the area coming for a great cruise. For over two decades the Port-of-Miami has accommodated the largest cruise ships in the world. There are currently 8 passenger terminals located on the Port-of-Miami.
