I've rented with AVR Ontario on many occasions but this one was bad. Found out at 5pm the night before I was to pick up my van at 8am the next morning that a van was not available. Placed the reservation approx a month in advance and no van. Not sure I will be returning.

The Houston location was extremely easy to work with and very oriented to customer service. Pickup did took a long time - it was extremely crowded.
We didn't go ahead and rent a van at this time. But your staff was friendly and courteous. Answered questions and was polite. Another family member had a better solution to our needs and that is why we didn't rent. But if we need a van in the future your business will be first on our list!
Van was beautiful and agent was friendly. Only negative was being charged for the airport pickup fee, airport concession fee, and a tourism tax even though this was a local rental, they are off-airport, and I drove my own car to pick up the van. I did bring this up with the clerk who said that at one time they had removed these charges but corporate was no longer allowing it.
Best experience ever....got an upgrade with no extra fees! Vehicle was perfect!

The van had 135,000 miles and rattled, along with a really bad alignment problem. The outside was not clean and the inside was missing the A/C vents
The staff was truly helpful, beyond the contracted. Thanks to Bil at Denver location for al his attentions.
