The staff at San Diego was very courteous and helpful. They helped in installing the child's car seat which we particularly appreciated.

The van we rented was horrible. Could not go over 60-65MPG because it started shaking and vibrating. We thought it was because it was empty but even fully loaded with 15 passengers it was the same. Several people on the road slowed down and pointed to our wheels were a problem. We kept stopping to see but could not tell if there was an issue. When I returned the van all they said was ok we will have it checked. I am sure the pervious renter told them the same thing but they did nothing.

I needed to have 8 passages vehicle for my big family which was not available in another rental companies.
They have what I needed exactly and the rental price was reasonable!
The car we received was a bit "warn around the edges", but was fine for what we needed. I would presume it fit the rate we got. The staff were excellent, helpful, and the shuttle service was prompt both picking up and after delivery.
Reserved Standard SUV w/ United Auto Rental Newport Beach but vehicle not available, would upgrade but next day pick-up and offered small car for the day. When I asked for assurance there would be the reserved SUV or Mini Van the next day no assurance given. Was then offered older service van or smaller SUV, I took the van. On trip we had tire problems and both front tires were worn on inside almost to steel belt with split in tire. Also front brakes were reported to be 90% worn.
I think they should have told me about the deductible when they told me to buy the insurance for the rental car.When i came to return the car on Saturday(the manager was on duty )he was assisting somebody .The thing made me unhappy because he did not say a word to me and acted like i was invisible.
