Black & White Rent A Car Renter Rated Reviews - Page 149

The insurance information I provided before our arrival was not sufficient to meet CA requirements, apparently. Yet, this information was not communicated to me via email beforehand - which resulted in an additional cost of $45 (for three days of insurance) - which is about 50% more money than we anticipated being charged. And the person we were working with was having difficulty explaining this information - which resulted in a VERY long check-in process. We were very disappointed.

My only complaint was the amount of time it took to be picked up from the airport and taken to the rental car location. I understand that shuttles may not be feasible but perhaps there is a faster way than sending a car only after the renter has called following the bag pick up.

Everything was great except for the pickup from LAX. 40 to 45 minutes is way too long to wait to be picked up. This factor alone would make me reluctant to rent from Black and White again - even though everything else was near perfect.

The staff was very friendly, and they got us to/from the airport promptly and on-time. I wasn't a huge fan of the Toyota Prius, and was hoping to drive a Fiat 500L. Overall, the experience was great and I would rent again from Black & White.

We were pleasantly surprised going with an unknown name rental company. When in this area, Black and White would be the only car rental service to use. Great staff too!
