Everything was great except for the pickup from LAX. 40 to 45 minutes is way too long to wait to be picked up. This factor alone would make me reluctant to rent from Black and White again - even though everything else was near perfect.

I rent cars from Black&White for 4 years and can recomment it to my friends
The staff was very friendly, and they got us to/from the airport promptly and on-time. I wasn't a huge fan of the Toyota Prius, and was hoping to drive a Fiat 500L. Overall, the experience was great and I would rent again from Black & White.
We were traveling to LA for a wedding and I had never heard of B&W. After the weekend I told everyone about the great rate and service.
We were pleasantly surprised going with an unknown name rental company. When in this area, Black and White would be the only car rental service to use. Great staff too!

The one thing that could be improved is that I had advised them our flight would be arriving an hour before they opened for the day and we would appreciate anything they could do to expedite our pickup and arrival to the agency, upon their opening for the business day.
However, we were advised nothing could be done, other than to call for a pickup when they opened, which we did, a driver came soon but when we arrived at the agency the paper work had not yet even been started

The insurance coverage check was a large hassle. This should have been handled before I arrived. If there were difficulties getting access to this information, I would have been more than happy to help obtain this information in the three weeks leading up to my pick up date. It was also apparent that the office was severely under-staffed, as one person was doing all the pick-up/drop-off work and had no radio/cb to communicate on demand with the office.
