Third time renting from B&W. Great experience as the previous 2. It has definitely become my car rental agency of choice. The pick up at LAX to Lot C is a little different but it works. Drop off at LAX is the best. Friendly and helpful staff. They ask about add ons but not high pressure and no hidden charges. The first rental can take a little more time while they verify your insurance but not as long a wait as with other rental car agencies.
I was recently traveling from St. Louis to Orange County, Ca. I chose to fly into LAX instead of Orange County just so that I could rent from Black and White. I love this company; they offer awesome cars and fantastic prices. They are always a pleasure to deal with and prompt, courteous and professional. This is why I would choose to land an hour out of the way just for a rental company.
For the time I had my baggage at baggage claim (3pm) to the time i was able to leave with the car (after 4:30pm) was over an hour and 1/2. The initial carseat that I was given was broken, so I had to move my sleeping child. It put me into rush hour traffic with a crying kid. The contract process was long and slow. The return was much smoother because they brought me to the terminal. But with the shuttle to Lot C system, I would never rent from here again.
Outstanding customer service at pick up and drop off. They went out of their way to be helpful. Car was in super shape, as new condition, which is exceptional for a rental. Will definitely rent again and recommend to others.
Customer service, especially at the desk, was friendly and on task. Representative made sure I got my refund and I promptly received it. Vehicle was consistently looked over for any prior markings/dents. Car was pretty clean when received, just not a fan of Nissans. Driver was nice, but could have been more helpful in the beginning. There was a bit of a wait to be picked up, but expected because of LA traffic. Overall, this company is very professional and treats customers well. Thank you!

There was some confusion about where we were going to be picked up after arriving at the airport. We now know what the problem was, and will know for the next time. It was late for their office but they continued to work with us to make it clear where we needed to be. Very courteous and apologetic. they were very helpful at the end of our rental with getting us back to the airport. We really like the personal touch.
Easiest car rental experience ever.
