My major complaint with the vehicle was that the gas tank was empty (fuel light was on) when I picked it up so I had to go get gas right away!
The positive comments above were about my experience with Payless, the agency to which I was referred because my plane arrived late and TransCanada was already closed. Because of this glitch, I waited for my pickup for 45 minutes, the rental info had to be re-entered, which took 45 minutes. The return of the vehicle was a gong show that took about 1.5 hours while my brother, who had other things to do, was waiting to give me a ride. I will rent from Payless again, but not from TransCanada.
Waited over 25 minutes to be picked up at airport, then waited over 20 minutes at hotel for employee to return from somewhere. Had to prove rate quoted thr email on my phone Ended up calling to exchange car for bigger last 3 days of trip, needed more room, verified availability on phone, but when we got there, waited again 20+ minutes for someone to come to the desk, then they DID NOT have the vehicle, waited over 25+ min for then to go get it from another lot. Still dont understand final bill

Vehicle needs better maintenance as tires were underinflated and bald - should have been replaced and very unsafe in the snow. There was a very pronounced vacuum leak coming from the engine bay. Gas tank was only 1/4 full and it is difficult to go anywhere and try to make sure that it is returned with the same amount of gasoline. Otherwise the vehicle was fine and the price and rental terms quite reasonable.
BADBAD SERVICE and attitude!i got there 1hr late and nobody was there so i waited for 1hr for them to come back.The car was not the one that i requested and it slipped very badly on the rode although i asked them if it was winter tires,they said its seasonal tires.I paid the rental fee on the day that i rented and paid $8.95/d for underage but i asked him "isn't it 14.95?" but he still charged me 8.95 and when i returned the car 2 days after, the other guy charge me 14.95/d so i had to pay extra
I got charge a lot more that the rate I was given, and since I needed to make my trip in that day, I had to pay 45 dllrs extra per day, wich I wasnt told wwhen I made the reservation... besides the staff had the worst actitud I`ve ever seen.
car was definitely economy, no power items other than the radio and engine. Couldn't find a trunk release and there wasn't a manual in the car.
they should have told me in advance that the location was offsite and given me instructions how and where to call for the shuttle
