The only thing was the insurance, whic I thought the basic level was included. When we returned the car we were dropped off back at our hotel, which due to the distance was definately beyond expecgtation. Exceptional service and value for money

The gas tank was not full and should have been. Rate was higher initially and I had to pull up my email to show that I was getting a discounted rate. There were additional charges that were not informed before.

I waited over a half hour to be picked up, I was picked up by two teenage boys in a broken down old car, it took a half hour to get to the rental counter, and THEN was told of a $50 late hours fee that I had NO prior warning of. The manager was rude and inconsiderate. I declined the rental, and was taken back to the airport. I have reason to believe my credit card was compromised by these people.

They charged extra, after the rental, because they said that credit card didn't cover the insurance for a commercial vehicle? I rented a 12 passenger ford van. It cost an extra $30/day when I returned the van. J Dimino

Advance Car and Truck Rental provided excellent high quality service. A number of my family members were flying into Toronto for a family reunion at a cottage. We all rented cars for the same period of time. Others rented from the big names with outlets at the airport. I paid much less but got just as nice a car - a new Honda Civic -- and more personalized service than others. Plus, the service was prompt and I was in my car and driving north to a family cottage in the shortest time.
