Pick-up at Airport could have occurred faster but it was not terrible.
The staff member was totally interested in polishing her nails and treated me like I was a "mark", when entering the rental site. She tried to try every trick imaginable in order to up my rental rate. She insisted that I would be charged an additional fee for not carrying my personal car insurance policy with me. Stupid and ridiculous!
I would rent again if the same unlimited mileage would apply for a Florida renter. The car was clean, the staff was very courteous but driving locally and worrying about not going over the 100 miles/day limit had me uncomfortable. Especially in Miami that is such a long city. I live in Palmetto Bay but work in Wynwood. That alone is a 30 mile one way commute.
The first agent, male, was not knowledgeable about ACOs policy. I was ready to leave the facility and had contacted a friend to pick me up immediately when a female agent arrived. The female agent was more knowledgeable about ACOs rental policy and procedures and I received the rate quoted. Were it not for the female agent I would not have rented from ACO and would not give the company a favorable rating.
The office only had one agent and even though there was only one person in front of us we had to wait quite some time to be helped because that person had some issues. We generally take earlier flights and if we had done so on this trip we could not have rented from you because the office did not open until 7:00. Fortunately, on this trip, our return flight was not until 9:00. Usually it is 6:00 to 7:00. You may consider opening earlier if you want to increase your business.

My car was dirty and stained, felt embarrassed having passengers. Putting 20 air fresheners in a car does not make the car clean.

Information regarding accepted insurance should be provided before rental is finalized so that the renter can make an informed decision whether to go ahead with the rental. The location is off airport and you have to call for pick up. After the wait it is annoying to be thrown a curveball of being forced to buy insurance. I didn't argue but just asked for a ride back to the airport. Now I will aways question why the smaller companies have such cheap rates, there is a hidden catch.
