I was very pleased with the cost and vehicle from my rental. There was some confusion regarding my online booking that led to a late pick up at the airport. I would suggest two things: first, the availability for a pick up at the south terminal of YVR and also to make it much more obvious on the website (and in confirmation email) that customers need to call to confirm their bookings when they are made at the last minute. However, it worked out fine for us and we appreciated the free upgrade.
Pleasantly surprised with my experience at Zoom. Staff was efficient and friendly. Will definitely rent from them again.

They had my file from previous rentals so that made it quick and efficient.
The fellows working at the counter weren't very professional.
When i returned the rental. The clerk and i did a final walk around of the car. During that walk around, the clerk noticed a small scuff on the front bumper. A tiny scuff about 1 inch squared. At that point he asked me if that scuff was there before or not. Um, how would I know? It's I was very disappointed in that question. I rent cars for work several times a year and I've never had someone ask me such an idiotic question.
I was quoted 288, i ended up paying 662. I was not given unlimited miles, i was made to pay for insurance since i did not have my paperwork with me, i was not given the right to use my own insurance. The rules of this company upset me and made me feel like i was being cheated out of my money. The whole experience there made me feel like it was a crooked company. I will never rent from here again, and warn friends about this company!
