I already have friends currently using rentals from ZOOM as a result of my good experiance and recommendation.

Only confusion was the $500 deposit which I was unaware they would do ahead of time and that the intial contract had different amounts quted than my online reservation. But the fellow explained it all and everything went smoothly

there was alot of confusion about the airport pick up location as pick up procedure had changed from my last visit but I was not informed of this or given contact info to aquire my transportation, also since it is an off-airport location I an unsure as to why I am paying an airport tax charge

Shuttle service needs to be improved. Waited at the airport for 1/2 hour to be picked up and then again 20 minutes to go back to airport. Due to the distance from airport and waiting times, would probably not use again

Upon arrival at Vancouver Airport, I could find no sign of Zoom Rental anywhere. I questioned each agency and none had any knowledge of Zoom or my name on file. Considering that you were given my credit card number, i was concerned to say the least. I wound up renting a car from Thrifty and would appreciate some explanation of why you are not known at Vancouver Airport-YVR and how you will dispense of my credit card information. I fully intend to alert Trip Advisor of your practices.

The staff gave me different answers about questions for the rate and insurance when I called. If they confirm me what I concern when I called, I will not rent the car with them.

take a good look, when you car gets checked (in the beginning). maybe take photos of dents, scratches etc. otherwise you might have to pay (when you return the car) for little damages you haven´t caused. however, the service was very good, there was always someone on the phone, when we called and this person was very nice and helpful.

Unclear how to contact staff on arrival. Not located in terminal and not listed on telephone/pickup stations outside. Apparently, was suppose to call another agency (listed) who work together to pick up clients or pass messages, but was not told this. Car interior and trunk were in poor condition - dirty and worn. Trunk would not close properly - rubber seal was loose almost entire way around and had to slam trunk lid shut. Made us worry that the engine might also be in poor condition.
