I will never come back here again! worst costumer service ever...both pick up and dropoff.Il will never recommend this Car Rental Company.it is hard to find.my gps was telling me im here,but We could not find the place and no sign from the outside.I have to go to the front Hotel lobby and ask for the office.finally I found the place looking for over 10 minutes.I went inside the office to pick up the van.the older man was inside with a bad attitude alreally. the dropoff very bad costumer service.

Customer was staying at Wyndham Hotel approx 2 blocks from our office...customer was given specific instructions as to our office location via phone AND email...There is a sign on the door located approx 75 ft. from the hotel front desk. Not sure why customer needed a GPS to go 2 blocks on the same side of the street as his hotel. Not sure why customer could not find us. Customer was upgraded from 11p*** Ford E350 to 12 p***enger Transit Van at NO charge! Customer was rough on our pregnant receptionist when van returned. Don't know what his issue was but would be happy to discuss with him.

Louis and United Van Rental were awesome and went above an beyond to meet my family's rental van rental needs. We had a good trip in a 15 passenger van from Irvine to Pasadena and back.

The pickup and returning off the car went perfect. The car itself was nice, only the condition from the car was very poor(had several malfunctions), and the free navigation system we never received!

1) During the booking process, credit card information could not be taken on-line or via phone. 2) The customer service person arranging the return of the vehicle ('Joe S') did not know the details of my rental agreement and arranged for the pickup one day earlier than expected and tried to charge me for one more day. When I tried to explain to him his error, he would not listen and was rude and sarcastic. Very poor customer service! He is reason that I would not use your company again.
Agency reply:
We take credit cards and all information pertaining to a van rental on the phone on a daily basis. There was a miscommunication (language) of when the vehicle was to be returned, but that was cleared up and there were no additional charges. The van was delivered and picked-up at the residence at no charge. The van was delivered earlier then the agreed reservation at the request of the renter to be able to leave early for their trip.

Overall I had a very positive experience with United Van Rentals. My only disappointment came from not knowing what vans I would be provided with at the beginning of my rental. Had I known, I would have communicated it to our team and it would not have been an issue at all. I would just recommend that agents be clear and upfront in the beginning to guarantee a positive all around experience. Mike and Louis did work hard to make it right!
