Reserved online. When I was ready to get the car, the staff at the office says that the online reservation doesn't mean a thing. So I did not get a car from empress car rental even though I reserved a car and wanted to get a car.

the first vehicle was not in a very good condition and the person at the office was not very helpful. After they change the car 3 days later it was ok.

This was the 2nd attempt to rent from Empress and all were very bad experiences. Will never try them again. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Empress was recommended to me during a prior trip so I used them. Spent $650 - rented 2 cars. Both were shabby, 1 damaged in the front; 1 intermittently didn't go into gear; both suspensions were poor and brakes touchy. Felt unsafe driving them. Neither had full fuel; attendant marked the outgoing fuel levels arbitrarily, both cars on the same form, and even though I put in plenty of gas, they said it wasn't enough. Seemed like a scam. I doubt I will use or recommend Empress again.
