The car was very dirty and old, as were the car seats. The car also had engine light and low tire pressure lights on the dash board. I was scared driving it up hills as the bottom of the car made loud cracking noises. The engine was also very loud when idling. I rented from empress to support the local car rental company, but I would not rent again.
The car I wanted wasn’t available when I arrived. They gave me a different car which they thought was better. I didn’t like it so I took it back the next day. They had the car I originally booked and there were no issues. It was a very good experience. I would rent again from Empress

It was a great experience. An almost new car at about half the price of their competitors. The shuttle to and from the airport was prompt, and the driver very helpful with luggage. Their location is right next to the airport. What else could you want?

Car was dirty, windows dirty, windshield washer not working properly. Car condition bad, rear chocks bad. I rented from Empress before and it was a lot beter. Also, i reserved a beach kit when i reserved the car months before to be told, at the counter , that they did’nt have any. Verry disapointed custumer.
This was our 9th rental from Empress and we've always had great service and nice rentals. Other than having Fox News on in the office everything was just fine. Not an intelligent choice, but...
My only concern is that year after year the 9 passenger vehicles I rent are in poor to dangerous condition due to wipers not working, tires in need of constant air, some door handles(interior and exterior) missing, general rough condition of interior, lack of resolution to these issues. Although the pricing is cheaper than most this is the conditions you need to accept.
I have used Empress for a number of years and have always appreciated their services.
A little confusing of where to go at the airport, but the service was excellent at the rental office. I will always be a repeat customer at Empress. Very friendly and courteous staff.
