This was the 3rd car rental for us during our summer vacation , and I will never go with the small/ independent companies again. Carls doubled the final rental cost with the unforeseen insurance fees. These same costs were covered in the basic rental fee from Budget and Álamo. And then they gave us a Kia with 50,000 miles on it! Clearly the most expensive rental, and the lowest quality car of our summer. Terrible experience at Carls Van Rental.
People were great, the price for the van was great. My only issue was that the seats in the van we're not clean, and the interior had a bad smell to it.
The staff at Carl's saved me when Sixt cancelled my rental with no notice and didn't want to honor my negotiated rate. The staff were so nice and courteous and I couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Ishmael is very professional and nice. Plus he's hot! I'd rent from Carl's again.

Greatly exceeded my expectations and everything was fast. Got the van with minimum paper work and it drove great. Will definitely rent from here again, better experience than any of the large car rentals
