I have never been treated so respectfully at a car rental agency. The shuttle driver was kind. The agent was friendly. It was great to be treated like a valued customer rather than just a number. Everything was ready as I expected and there was no pressure to upgrade.

I booked a reservation for 3 weeks. The day before pick up I was told that they couldn't honor the rate I had booked. At all. I had to change plans and rental companies at the very last minute. Very poor experience.

Very good rental experience overall. The only downsides were (1) the inconvenience of taking an LAX shuttle to a “remote rental location” (aka a parking lot a mile from the airport) and having to wait 10 minutes in the heat for a second shuttle to the rental agency and (2) surprises with the price, one being a safety deposit put on my credit card that was more than twice the whole cost of the 3-day rental and another being having to pay extra to return the car at 5:00 pm on a holiday Monda
