It was easy and straightforward to pick up and drop off
My entire rental process was contactless so I did not engage with any staff -- which is why I did not answer the first four questions. However, the process went very smoothly. I would caution new guests not to panic when they do not receive an email with all the details on the day before you pick up your car. My email came just hours before our flight landed and I was rather anxious. Luckily, the process went smoothly from start to finish and I would recommend Carzi/PHX to friends and family.
Avoid Carzi at all costs. Renting from Carzi is like paying to rent the worst Uber car you've ever ridden in. The car was filthy and smelled like weed and cheap perfume and was in terrible condition.
They didn't respond when we tried to cancel because they don't have unlimited mileage.
Will only rent with carzi in the future. They are the best. Was in my car and on my way in 10 minutes from landing. Awesome SUV! thanks carzi
Pleasant experience
Use carzi if you want something cheap and don't care about the shape of the car you are in.
Your process to pick up the vehicle was explained poorly through the reservation and confirmation process. A follow-up email with pick-up instructions wasn’t sent until an hour later and I didn’t see it. The confirmation said the airport, so I went to the rental center. I wasted a lot of time (90 min) traveling and figuring out where and how to get the car. Eventually, someone at your lot told me to text you. Your text person was extremely rude. A terrible experience, I won’t ever use you
The car had many issues - seal around drivers door was missing and caused a lot of road noise, the hood shook when driving, some physical damage around the car, etc. I expected a better vehicle with this reservation, although the contactless reservation/pick up/drop off was very easy.
I would never rent from this company again.
The directions were not clear
They rent what seems to be personal vehicles; directional was out and the charging port did not work. They also weren't clear about the mileage restriction and charge $0.75 per mile!
In the end it cost more to rent from this company than a repertable rental company.
