I had reserved/requested a right-hand drive car but received a left-hand drive car but wasn't told of the change at the counter or given any options. In addition, on the price quote, I had included a driving permit for a second driver but at the counter, I was never given the chance to make that purchase.
It wasn't the prettiest Jeep in the world, but it was fun to put the top down while on vacation in the Cayman's.
The ease of making a reservation online was great. However, when we wanted another family member to pick up our rental since our plane was arriving later there was a lot of confusion and Andy's ended up trying to give them another reservation causing a lot of confusion with the size of vehicle we needed. I paid for everything upfront yet we still had difficulties with the rental. Some of the staff was very helpful and friendly others acted as if we were bothering them with our business.
Am repeat customer for Andys. Have rented from most of the others, but had issues with unavailable car selected and refusal to honor online rates quoted.
The car was very dirty and old. The windows were covered with dust and grime and the card was full of sand.
We have been to Cayman appox.6 times and always rented from Andys. Very satisfied.
Our vehicle had more than 99.000 miles and worn seats. It was an older model that required moving the two middle seats to reach the back seats. We considered trying to exchange it but it ran well so we didn't bother. We have used Andy's many times over the years. I know Andy's has multiple locations, unlike its competitors, and I could have called to ask for an exchange. But the idea that Andy's pushes its cars longer will remain in the back of my mind.
Nice staff and facility
We use Andy's every time we come here, good service, knowledgable and friendly, good cars and no problems.
