I had to do an after-hours pick up. The car was not in the space they said it would be, so I had to look for the car.
The vehicle I had reserved was not available for me at the time of pick up. From what was explained to me , an accident had happened with the vehicle and there were no other vehicles of the same type available for me. I was put into another vehicle but would’ve appreciated a different kind of compensation for not getting what I paid for . I had used Alaska 4x4 because of the vehicle choice but do understand that situations beyond their control can happen .

Smooth rental experience
They had to set up an after hours rental which required a lot of paperwork but they were in contact with me to get everything set up in time. Communication to pick up the vehicle was great, since I couldn't just go to the counter. Having a 4wd vehicle in December was essential.
Everything was as expected, or better! The 2022 Jeep had 4WD and studded tires to feel confident driving on the Alaska snow & ice.
