days after i rented they called to tell
me no cars were available that
the military had them all. This call was after my ability to cancel
my remote lodging reservations. It put
me in a bind, no car and non-refundable lodging.
This should be illegal! I will report to BBB

At the airport pick up counter was closed. No answer on the telephone, just answering machine. Next morning I reached an agent on the phone. She told me that reservation was cancelled due a lack of available cars. Very bad behavior of Alaska 4x4 rentals not to inform me about the cancellation.
I had to do an after-hours pick up. The car was not in the space they said it would be, so I had to look for the car.
The vehicle I had reserved was not available for me at the time of pick up. From what was explained to me , an accident had happened with the vehicle and there were no other vehicles of the same type available for me. I was put into another vehicle but would’ve appreciated a different kind of compensation for not getting what I paid for . I had used Alaska 4x4 because of the vehicle choice but do understand that situations beyond their control can happen .
