Vendor could provide better attention to detail. Car we requested was not clean, with drink bottles, etc left from prior renters. Windshield washer fluid was empty, 2 tires needed air. How about sending cars out full of gas, and having renters return fill.

Impressed by the service, less than impressed with the vehicle. All after/before hours pickup was smooth and everything transactional went well, but the car's transmission seemed to be acting up, there was a brake light bulb failure within three hours of having the car, and on the second to last day the horn stopped working.

Overall this was a good experience. The vehicle was clean and comfortable but was older than expected and had occasional issues with pickup while driving uphill. The pick-up and drop-off after-hours was handled well.

My car was cancelled less than 48 hours before I was supposed to pick it up. The person I talked to gave me 3 other rental companies that he said had cars but NONE did. We specifically needed a minivan and 3 car seats and not having the car could have cancelled our vacation. We ended up finding one in Idaho Falls, which caused one of us to sit in a hotel room with 3 kids for s day while one of us got the car. We were luckily to get that car and s ride to it. Otherwise we would have lost $1000s

I originally reserved the car in early July. A week before we were scheduled to arrive in SLC on Aug 19, I was informed that my reservation had been cancelled. With the help of David, he was able to re-instate. There was another mix-up on August 19, but David and a female agent (his wife, I think), were able to straighten it out. They were very nice to go above and beyond to get everything corrected. We were very satisfied with the outcome. We would definitely use this agency again.THANKS!

I reserved with Affordable more than a month before my trip, for high demand dates overlapping the solar eclipse. Just a few days before my travel, they called me and dumped my reservation. They claimed a computer glitch that somehow wasn't detected until now. So then I had to pay $100s more because of the higher demand. And conveniently, this company can probably get a lot more money over these dates than I reserved at. So I'd consider any reservation with Affordable to be very tentative.
