Hidden insurance fees were outrageous. We decided not to go through with the rental. As we were waiting for the shuttle back to the rental, the agent was jump starting another car that was being rented.
Did not know i would be required to show written proof of insurance...and thus charged $20+ per day.
Rate quoted was not obtainable..... Bait and switch tactics... Either buy their comprehensive insurance OR get charge $10 per day to USE YOR OWN! Unbelievable. So, the "Total including taxes and fees" quoted through carrentalexpress is NOT ACCURATE! The charge is buried deep in the fine print. First time getting a bad quote through KAYAK. DID NOT RENT CAR as a result. Went to FOX rental car and was treated fairly.
In Miami, ACO rep very rude, giving an "attitude", We wanted to rent a car for 2 days and return it before reaching 48 hours (~3am) because our flight left at 5 am. I don't know if this is an ACO policy but she asked my wife to pay "extra money" if she wanted somebody to come from home to receive the car since nobody from ACO is working at that time. Also they don't accept CC car insurances (any car rental does)

This was a horrible experience. We reserved our rental and when my husband got there to pick it up they wanted proof of insurance. This was not stated when I reserved the car. It specifically asked me if I wanted the insurance when booking and I declined. I emailed my husband a copy of the policy to his phone and he showed it to the desk. They would not accept this and would not let me fax or email it to them either to print out. We had to cancel the rental and he called for a ride.
I will never use this agency again and I've told many people already never to use it

They would not answer the phone, the pickup took over 30 minutes, it took almost 2 hours to rent the car due to wait times, staff that was not paying attention to me (chit chatting instead), didn't know how to answer questions, and my rate almost doubled (for 5 days) because I needed the car for another 5 hours because the website wouldn't let me pick up/drop off outside of 12pm. Never renting outside the airport again, it's worth paying the extra money.
This company is a fraud. They only give you 100 miles per day on their rental but fail to mention it on their disclosure. Also, their customer service rep. is rude. Further, they dont accept proof of insurance through your phone or email. They only want to see the physical card or they refuse to rent the car. They eveb refused to have my insurance company fax them a physical card. Please take them off your list of rental cars.
