This was the worst car rental experience I have had. Despite having two emails with a quote I was charged $70 more then the quote, even though I ended up renting for a day less. The attendant could not explain where in the emails it said I would be charged more upon arrival. Even on the contract he just said oh its somewhere. Was not willing to work on price give the 50% total hike upon arrival. Then when dropping off the car, despite confirmed communication... I have a lot more to say.

We were told at the rental desk upon check in that there would be a $740.00 extra charge for some airport access fee. They said I was going to have the rental for 21 days which was correct. We would only be at the airport 2 times— arrival and departure. Does that make any sense?? I ask where does that extra charge appear on the quote and was told in the terms and conditions area! A HUGE DECEPTION! We declined the rental immediately. We will NEVER rent from them again

The price I was quoted on the Internet for the car was correct. However, there were $75 of other fees that were not disclosed in the quote and the counter staff forced me into renting a toll pass for another $70 that I never used. The effective rate for my rental was more than doubled from the original quote. I will never rent from VIA car rental again, nor will I recommend it to any comsu.er

Don't rent from them. Had tons of extra fees. Wanted to charge way more than rate quote. I left and rented from reputable agency because I didn't want give money to scam.

I will never use this company again. The fees were not transparent and the customer service was poor. I felt like an inconvenience to the staff and they did not explain things clearly. What I spent was $150 more than I was quoted. The car I got smelled funny and wasn't what I booked. Drop off would have been much easier and the same price if I just used a reveal company at the airport, but i thought this one would be cheaper. Never again.

I recently rented a car on March 27th and had to dispute a charge afterward. The company said the car smelled like marijuana and the gas tank wasn’t full, but I completely disagree. I refilled the tank to match the level it was when I got it, and any small difference came from driving back to return it. I don’t smoke because of asthma and would never allow smoking around myself. I believe this was a misunderstanding and hope they review and remove the charge.
