I had absolutely 100% satisfaction with AVR San Jose. The front desk agent and the van technician were very professional and had one of the best customer service I had ever seen in an auto rental agency. The Manager was also courteous and offered me with the best possible value for my money. Everyone went above and beyond in providing me and my family the best van rental service possible.
I received great service from AVR San Jose and expected the same from San Francisco. However I was disappointed at the amount of time it took to have my van ready. They did not even have the right type to van I made the reservation for. When the agent found my requested van he said that I was "lucky they had one for me". It's unfortunate that more effort was not put into keeping my reservation and having it ready on the time requested. My shuttle service alsi arrived later than the promised 10 m

Scheduled pick up for 11am in 4/20/2016. Due to traffic coming into the city for the 420 Festival I was over the two hour reservation hold limit. The agent got a message to the manager and was able to "reserrect" my reservation. Thanks again.
Our quote was off by $300 dollars.due to not enough info.that van was considered a bus and my insurance would not cover it.so we had to purchase ins.for the van.which dipped into our vacation funds.all in all though was satisfied.

The van was not as clean as I expected it to be and it had a bad odor. We had to wipe down the interior and put an air freshener in it before our trip. It did perform satisfactorily, but it was not clean.
