The car was comfortable and was a good riding car.
At first, agent was unclear about requirements for local driver to rent vehicle. Security deposit of $500 is a bit high for a military service member stationed in San Diego, should consider giving military discounts and consideration of security deposit.
Front desk was extremely rude. I left the office shaking with anger.
Staff and service was great. I was disappointed that the Mustang Convertible I rented was 5 years old (2013) and pretty dinged up.
United Rental was a unique car rental experience. We were picked up at the airport car rental center in San Diego and driven to the United rental office, which was only a few minutes away. Once there, and after inspection of the rental car, I wanted to change cars. The staff there was more than willing to accomodate us. Upon return of the car, we were given a ride back to the airport. Great service! I hope that eventually they can update their interior design of their office space.
We were impressed with the simple transaction, no pressure to upgrade, and polite staff.
I highly recommend United Auto Rental, San Diego! They were so friendly and accommodating. Our rental car was clean and we didn't have to wait to pick up or return. It is an off site rental and they happily drove us directly to the airport rather than the regular rental car facility airport shuttle. We will definitely use them again!
This agency is wonderful. They were courteous, helpful, and a great value. Would definitely use them again if I'm ever in San Diego!
