I had a very poor experience with Peel Car rentals , after arriving at Toronto . made the call from the courtesy phone located at Viscount Station at 5.45 pm . To my surprise I was rudely advise no car was available till 7 .30 pm . I advised the staff that i had a important commitment at 7 pm down town Toronto. The reply was that we did not have your contact ( Cell no or email address) so they were not able to advise me earlier , I advised them them both info was provided at the time.

Waited about 45 minutes for pick-up. Then they had difficulty finding my reservation. Insurance requirements need to be stated more simply and clearly in understandable English. Nobody can understand the legalese.

The owner of the car obviously smoked in the vehicle and it smelled of stale smoke.

Great service and help from Peel Car Rentals. I would definitely use them again. I appreciated their help in advance of my booking related to an international licence query. The T&Cs could be a bit clearer on/after booking as they are quite repetitive, but this is only a very minor point.
