Disreputable - bad service - forced me to take insurance even though I have insurance and if I didn't say yes I was going to get stranded - no info on this - no info on the fact that they were off-site - shuttle not on time - by far the worst rental experience I've ever had in over 20 years
Very unfortunate to rent car from this company. So many hidden clauses and paid almost double what I have reserved.
My flight was delayed due to bad weather in Colorado. When I arrived in Houston it was 12:30am. I tried calling the Stride and the number they provide on the website is the wrong number. I eventually found their number and the person I spoke with was very unprofessional. I explained my situation to him and he told me that they close at 11 and I won't be getting my money back. I would not recommend this company to anyone.
The line was at least a 45 minute wait. It wasn’t clear ahead of time that the declaration page needed to be on and with you. There was not any type of confirmation that our deposit was returned and are still waiting and watching our bank account. They only communicate this with you by email- no texting feature available. A man in line behind us had his reservation marked as no show and was cancelled by Stride even though he was at the establishment waiting in the long line.
This company is a scam. I arrived 35mn after the rental time on the contract and was told my reservation had been cancelled as there was a 30mn no show policy. The terms and conditions said 1h. Staff from car rental express at the counter could not care less. Said it was not their problem and offered me a car for $180. Meanwhile, after a long wait on the phone, stride rent a car offered me to go to the airport (1h and $50 uber ride away) to get a car). Never rent with these folks! Stinks of scam
Everybody did their job. Car was good
I called to say I would be late for my pick up, over the hour that was allowed. I did not get to pick up my rental due to being late and they canceled the reservation. Will not be using this car rental company again.

Excellent service
Very hard and time consuming to get to counter. Representative was rude and had given away my car. Claimed we said we would be there at 1 - that was the time the plane landed. Tried to call several times, never got a human. Instructions to get to rental car location were wrong. Never ever rent from this company
