Empire Rent A Car Renter Rated Reviews - Page 69

We called up specifically asking about rates and times during this crisis - we were assured by the person on the phone that the "late return" would be waived, since hours have been curttailed through no fault of our own. We were also told someone would call us back the day we set up the rental online. We were not called, and when my colleague arrived to pick up the car, the fee was not waived and we were charged almost $100 over the original quoted price. We will unlikely rent from here again.

A major car rental agency canceled my cargo van reservation at the last minute. I found empire online the phone service person was great. They had a van to rent. The van wasn't at the Fordham location so we had to go to Gunhill... But the van was great and all billing is as described. Its a weird time now with the Pandemic. but the rental agency was professional and polite. thanks.

The clerk Beverly was very polite and offered good advice and answered all my questions and the gentleman, Marcos was also very polite and explained all he could about the car he gave me when he inspected the car. Upon my returning the car Beverly was very polite and explained everything that I can expect when the car plates are run to get a refund for tolls. Marcos also inspected the car again upon my returning the car and reassure me that I returned the car in the same physical condition.
