Flight arrived shortly after midnight. Waited over 40 minutes for pickup because first shuttle was full. Barely made it onto next shuttle which also filled up. When shuttle got to rental office, there was only one employee and some travelers from previous shuttle were still waiting in line. Took another 45 minutes to make it to the front of the line. EVERYONE STANDING IN LINE HAD A RESERVATION, SO CHARLIE KNEW THERE WOULD BE A RUSH. Charlie should at least have had another employee at the desk.
There was a problem with our online reservation when we got there it wasn't in the system even though I had a confirmation # and was at the right location. Overall great value and service besides that
Anyone going to Puerto Rico who might need a car - go to Charlie Car Rental. I did and got an excellent brand new car to use for two weeks at an amazing price. Transponder for tolls. No hidden fees. Great on gas use. Pick-up and drop-off shuttle to and from the airport (even in the middle of the night!) was prompt and caring. I endorse Charlie Car Rental one hundred percent.

We originally rented a jeep wrangler. The second day into the rented the brakes began to make loud screeching noises while driving down a mountain. When I called to the rental company to report it, the girl who answered told me that was normal when driving downhill. Ridiculous. When I returned the car that day for an exchange, they gave me a car which did not have power windows or power locks. in 2017?! Every time we needed to enter or exit the car we need to climb over the seats to unlock/lock
