Excellent service, the vehicle was brand new. Wonderful company. I have rented before and would definitely rent again when I visit the Island. No better place for a car rental. Employees were helpful and courteous and you can't beat the location--so convenient--and the shuttle back to the airport with absolutely no problems. I would recommended it highly to anyone looking for good rates, excellent service and vehicles.
We were quoted $122 and w taxes and fees (expected) it was $171. When we arrived we were told that we had to pay $20 plus tolls or $6.99 a day for unlimited tolls. As we are from NY and there are tolls EVERYWHERE, this was an unexpected surprise. Since I was paying by debit card (as I pay for everything an vacations as I do not want to pay interest on my CC's) and using our own Ins policy we were then told that I would HAVE to use their ins, which would have brought the total to $291!!!

We had a little miscommunication on meeting point, but we were picked up relatively quickly. Office agent was very knowledgeable about options. vehicle condition excellent. We had no issues. Office locations were very convenient for us: Condado and near the airport.
We've been renting cars from Charlie for years from multiple locations throughout the island. The cars we rent are economy so they're not for everyone, but for our needs they're perfect. We've never had problems with renting from Charlie and would recommend this company to anyone in the market for a rental in PR.

The service is always great at Charlie’s. The only lower rating I gave is for the quote. There is always a different price when picking up the vehicle than the online quote. It’s always less than a $1 so it’s not worth arguing it but I feel the amount should be the same.
