Pick-up and drop-off at LAX was faster than I expected. As fast as a regular rental car shuttle. My first time with them. I reserved a Corolla but they gave me a Nissan SUV, which I was happy with. You can tell these folks are not in a pure mass-market business. For instance they really scrutinized the car before I drove it off.. The main-line agencies aren't quite to careful. Maybe Black and White is more careful because they rent high-end specialty cars. Great experience all around.

My expectations for hospitality and service of car rental places is minimal but this company is making me rethink my expectations. This company is the best rental company I’ve ever worked with. Their communication was professional, courteous and pleasant. All interactions with multiple staff members were well above standard. I highly recommend this service.

We came in on Christmas day and the staff was super accommodating and pleasant (unlike others working on the holiday we encountered) Already recommended them to multiple people when in the California area! Our car was a great deal, I'm so glad we went with Black and White!

Overall experience is ok. But I get 3/4 tank of gas when marked as a full tank on contract, called agent to got it resolved. dropped off at LAX at Joe's parking lot during off hours, been told they cannot take keys from Black&White Rental. Luckily the agent told me another location to drop off the car.

We had a very good experience with Black & White Rent A Car. The car was clean and performed well. It was upgraded at no additional cost. The staff was courteous and knowledgable.

Only thing is that when they did the walk thru they said gas was a full tank. When I started it it was 6/8th or 80% full. I took a picture. When I returned it they said too bad since I signed the yellow paper. The explorer gets 15 miles a gallon so that was about 5 gallons that was missing. Why couldn’t they look at the picture I took and readjusted the final bill?
