Initially we were encouraged about the rate of the car vs what other rental agencies were charging. However, It took about 4 hours to get the email with the code and location of vehicle, so by the time I was picked up from the shuttle and dropped off at airport parking (PHX), I had to sit around and wait for the email to show. I tried to contact someone, but all they had available was the AI automatic answers (which didn't have my specific information -- no one was available to take my call).
Did not get rental. Reserved car for 9 am in Phoenix. That morning, I get a text that there are no cars available and can I wait till 5 PM to pick up. What am I going to do at the airport til 5 ZPM. very disappointed. Asked for a refund so I could rent elsewhere. Was told it could take up to ten days to receive. Luckily there was a reputable agency to help me out. Thank you payless car rental for saving the day.
The contactless system was convenient and easy. I appreciated being able to get in on a late night flight and get right in a vehicle.
STEER CLEAR! They didn’t send any instructions about the pick up location or shuttle location. When we tried to call they had a lot of attitude and had told my wife she cannot read. We were unable to find the shuttle at the location provided even on the phone they gave no information. We took a taxi to the company location called them and we asked for a refund for them to start screaming at my wife on the phone calling her a “Dumb Bitch” and threatening to beat her up. I have not used a rental car before and this place made it so easy that I will most likely use them again and let my family members know
Car was not what we requested but doable. We had an issue with a broken windshield and wipers not working. It was raining we requested for a swap. We couldn’t drive in the rain almost got into an accident. On our way back from where we were since we caught rain, that wasn’t a priority. Also car was very dirty when we picked up we are not picky people but would’ve wanted a vehicle that was safe.
I would have been good if the car was washed and clean inside.

Very easy and better prices than competition (minus the deposit). Chips in the windshield but they didn't effect performance. Key fob did not work exiting the garage but they were quick to help resolve the issue.
