Rented from APEX in 2023 and it was great. This time the car was not as good, had done 166,000+ miles, car had been in accidents, bodywork was clearly rebuilt on the drivers side, the interior was shoddy, the key was damaged, the heat sheild under the engine fell down on day one (it was held on by a small piece of purple wire and was advised by Apex when I phoned to take it to a garage to get it fixed with cable ties which cost me $20.00 and an hour of my holiday. Staff were very kind and efficient. Price was good. Car had low battery from the beginning and a few marker lights were on. However they did not seem important. After one week battery died and car stopped functioning in the middle of a road. We had to call and 3 hours later we had a car replacement (despite it was a Sunday). In general cars could be in better shape to prevent failures, however the service and price are great. I would definitely rent here again.
