After waiting over an hour for a pickup at the airport in Orlando I called an uber. When I got to the address on the website I was told they had moved months ago. I called the number for another half hour but no one ever picked up. I never got the car but it appears I was charged anyway.
They cancel my reservation stating l was late l called got hung up said 20 own for shuttle and email no response. Waiting 10 min the man was in the car to tell me it was cancel only got 30 min . On my c9ntract states 60 . Terrible would offer me nothing had to wait on the street for an lyft driver
I was on “hold” for over an hour trying to speak to an agent, despite the automated recording indicating that “your wait time is approximately 3 minutes”! The agent intimated that I was fortunate that she picked up at all because she worked in the Miami office and my rental was from the Ft. Lauderdale office. Customer service sucked.
This Americar Company is a scam. They will try to nickel and dime you for everything. They said my insurance was not good enough to cover so I was to pay an extra 350.00 for their insurance. They were not helpful and finally after back and forth I told them I do not want to rent from them. They said they could wave the extra insurance charge but then wanted me to prepay a bunch of tow fees. This company is terrible. They finally agreed to cancel and refund my fee, which I am still waiting on....
The company did not pick up the phone when I tried calling. There was no information about airport shuttle available. The company location listed on the email was incorrect, and I had to take an uber to get to the correct location. They claimed my reservation was never confirmed despite confirmation number and did not have a car for me. They said they could give me another car but wanted to charge $2000 deposit. Worst rental car experience ever.
I was sold an additional driver option for over $300. I found out from Fox billing that I wasn’t supposed to be billed for that as it is free for my spouse.
The worker in the office was beyond rude. He behaved in a childish, petty manner. I will never use this company again as a result. Otherwise it was ok other than the hours not aligning well with my flight.
The EZPass should be easier to decline if you have one from a participating state

I have never had a worse experience with any company. They refused to answer the phone to pick me up from the airport. When I was finally able to find the rental agency it consisted of a shipping container with one person working. There were 3 people in front of me who had been waiting with the line not moving for 45 minutes. I never got a car. Do not ever use this "company" if renting a car in Orlando or elsewhere. I have reached out to the company with no reply.
