The additional charge for insurance at pick up is ridiculous. You have very low ethics to add on such a large charge at pick up. It wasn't clear at all.
Then there is no cancellation available, even if it was a 20% cancellation rate I wouldve done it.
Your staff is wonderful and kind, but you're doing them no favors with this policy of charge 2x the amount for insurance when picking up the car.

Americars did not honour my Canadian Car Insurance cover in USA & I paid extra Insurance ($ 186/wk). Then an additional $250 deposit? I was upset so, they gave the SUNPASS use free waiving the ($9,99/day) fees & I would only pay for tolls used based on print out upon car return. I picked up in Orlando off airport & returned at Ft. Lauderdale off airport, there was no one at there office, I left the car in their lot & keys with neighbor rental co. No Receipt? Now extra $250 charge again? Thiefs
Waited over 2 hrs for the airport shuttle. Tried calling and they put me on hold for 20 minutes and then said it was 10 min away. It never showed, so paid for a cab to the address on my receipt. That was an old or fake address, because it didn't exist once we got there. Tried calling again but no one would answer. Ended up renting from another agency on the same street. Tried calling for a refund a couple days later. They put me on hold for 40 minutes and then hung up. Never again . . .
Great experience
It was terrible. The ride from the airport to the place was scary. He drove like a maniac. Once at the desk where we had to wait forever, I was overcharged nearly $500 from my voucher. He pretended to call my insurance company and I know he did not. The place is a complete rip off. Fees were added that should not have been. The rental agreement that I came in with said that this would be my total cost. We were stuck in the middle of nowhere and had no choice but to take the car.
The outlet was closed when we arrived. We were able to pick up the car 16 hours later. At this time Jose was friendly, helpful and prompt.

The on site staff in Orlando were great, both at pickup and return. The car was great. My issue was with the communications network thereafter. I would send emails, and get unrelated replies. And because of this ,I paid for insurance, that I did not require. My Mastercard covered 30 days of collision, and when I had time to check with my Car Insurance people, the Collision was also covered. If communication with the customer service staff was better, I could have save a great deal on the rental
