Cheap rentals. Customer service was horrible as they only had 2 employees working the front desk. Long wait time. If you have your own personal car insurance they will only accept certain companies in order to waive their insurance and they do no cover road side assistance if the tire pops or engine failure. You will have to buy a separate package for that.
After taxes and fees I paid $300 more than quoted. Unacceptable.
Took an hour to pick us up from airport. Does not have drop off service as I needed to be at the airport by 5am and they do not open until 7am. I had to drop off vehicle a day early and return to the airport for a day rental from a company open 24hrs. Extra hassle! 60 mile RT from Disney World and extra toll fees!

I needed to return my car early because I had a flight the next morning at 9am at an airport 30 miles away and the agency didn't open until 7am. The person on the phone was very rude and explained that she would not make arrangements for me to come the night before because of a prior arrangement between her and the boss. She was very unprofessional and upset because of whatever issues she had with a previous client on the day before.
My rate quote was not honored. They made me purchase additional auto insurance once I got there even when I had proof I had my own. Price of the rental doubled from my original quote. Don't rent from ACO!!
I waited about 1 hour for the shuttle pickup at the airport. In the meanwhile, several car rental competitors had multiple shuttles stop for pickups. Turns out, ACO only has one shuttle! Things were no better at the pickup desk. Just one person to handle the transaction while being interrupted every 2 minutes to answer incoming calls. The whole process took ~2 hours for a pre-paid rental. Never again.
We made our reservation for ACO Rent-a-Car for what seemed like a very enticing price, only to find out when we got there that there were over $350 of mandatory additional fees that we had to pay in addition to our reservation that we were simply not informed about before hand. We felt betrayed, but had no choice for we were on a tight schedule and we needed a car. We're also extremely disappointed in carrentalexpress.com for not informing us about these hidden fees when we booked through them.
This company should go out of business. Horrible customer service was awful and thy tried to charge us for insurance that we have, except we didn't have the right one. This was not mentioned in the emails I was sent requesting I pay for my rental in advance. When we asked for a refund they said ok and then didn't credit our account until I called 3 days later. I almost had to have my bank file a fraud case against them.
