Overall, it was a good experience and value. However, when I rented the vehicle I did not realize that there was not a counter at the airport.
My experience with SNA auto rental was perfect. My pick up was quick and and the driver extremely courteous. The car I rented was clean, well maintained and extremely fuel efficient. The office is very near to the airport.

We were not made aware that they did not have 24 hour airport pickup/drop off. This could have been a huge problem.

I was a little confused about the after hour pick-up charge since they weren't open at the time that I booked. But they did call me to notify of the actual hours, and took off the extra charges from the rent. Otherwise, the experience was good and prices great when compared to other companies.
Overall I was very satisfied, and will rent from SNA Auto Rental again.
The air freshner smell in the car was horrible! I stored the air freshner in the glove compartment to stop more of the horrible smell from permeating into the car and to deal w/ the smell already in the car I had to drive w/ the windows down and the air circulation on max to avoid the smell. Driving w/ the windows down in Decemember wasn't too pleasant. Get rid of the air freshners and the horrible "fresh" smell and this wouldn't been a great experience.
Very accomodating and friendly. I changed vehicles, & the rate wasn't as good as original vehicle. But I didn't have the opportunity to check around at that point. First vehicle pretty much as promised, though a bit smaller (Corolla not Camry) & lacking some things I would expect, like power driver's seat. Location appeared to be on airport, which is not correct, but it's close enough to be considered as on airport. Overall, decent value, excellent service & people. Cars had some dings: inspect!
