The overall rentals experience was excellent. The staff was very friendly and the vehicle was similar to what I expected. I had no issues with the vehicle all week and the drop-off process was easy, even after their office had closed. A similar vehicle would've cost nearly double at any other rental company. I will definitely be renting from them again if I return to SLC.
Only downside was the bit of a walk from the airport to the shuttle. From there, the experience was great.
I thought we had rented a diesel but it must have been my mistake :) the towing power was ok, but I think we'll go with the 2500 next time. Love this company though!

Got a great deal on a rental for the week. The car was cheaper than any other agency around, and the shuttle ride to and from the airport was very quick. Definitely the best value around.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee was the perfect vehicle for our adventure. 4 people and tons of camping gear for a twelve day tour of Southern Utah's National Parks. For it's size and weight the Jeep got tremendous gas mileage and took us comfortably and safely off many beaten paths including mud and snow. Everyone we dealt with at Rugged Rental was professional, friendly, genuine and truly helpful; right down to recommending the cheapest gas station nearby to fill up before returning the vehicle.
Second time I rented from Rugged Rental. Everything was as it should be. I trust these folks. They are committed to service and running a good business.
