My group and I visited for four days. On the first full day in St. Martin, we had an incident where four large screws penetrated our tires. We believe they were placed under our tires while out and our car parked (we were there for one hour). A tire shop nearby patched 3/4 tires affected, and Leisure understood the circumstances and told us if anything else were to happen to let them know (we had insurance). I returned the car and screws to the office at drop off, they were kind and sympathetic.

Renting a car from Leisure is the way to go on St. Martin. The agency demonstrated excellent customer service when it promptly sent someone out to change a tire discovered leaking we stopped for lunch in Marigot. He competed the fix by the time we paid our tab! Here's one hint: cars are sent out with less than a full tank. Take a photo of what you get, so you can verify returning the same at the drop-off.
