I had a good experience with Empire.
As this is rents for big Vans, it could be good to have more details online, about luggage space for each rental
WE WENT TO CATSKILL FALLS AND IT WAS A HILLY AREA, THE POWER OF ENGINE WAS NOT GOOD AND ENGINE KEPT ON MAKING NOISE ON STEEP ROADS. SEATS WERE ALSO VERY DIRTY DIRTY AS IF SOMEONE DRPPED THE BEVERAGE.
Great experience
I rented a 12 passenger Transit Van for a family wedding out of state. The van was clean and comfortable. The staff was helpful and went over every detail. The price was less than half of what the national chains were charging .
If I ever need a van of that size again, I will be renting from them again.
The initial pickup was great, Staff that helped during pickup was amazing. Had some issues upon with the return but nothing that couldnt be handled. Spent a little more money than expected but the car was great and this was a last minute rental.
the vehicle was too expensive ($300 a day) and the policies were inflexible--a '3-day rental' does not mean 72 hours, but 3 calendar days. the place opens too late (8 am) and closes too early (3 pm) to make it possible to stay within those policies, so you wind up spilling over to the next day and paying an extra $300 event though you're not using it.
