We had a great experience renting with empire rent a car. We were taken care of nicely and we got a great deal. Will definitely rent with them in the future.
The staff was extremely personable, called the day of to confirm pick up time so that our vehicle would be ready and waiting when we got there. I am from out of state so they helped me set up an account online to handle the tolls we would pass through, making the billing process easy. They had a great selection of vehicles and outstanding rates. Will definitely choose them again for future rentals

This location was very respectful an very quick with responses and emails for quotes Beverly the lady behind the counter made it easy for me a first time renter to feel comfortable about my rental would go back specially because of her kindness
The staff and service was amazing....but the car was absolutely disgusting.
The staff was great and very helpful, and I am grateful we could return the car early the next morning instead as in the evening while not being charged a full additional day of rental - just a moderate charge of $100, which was entirely acceptable. My only (slight) issue was that the person who rented the car before we did must have been a heavy smoker, so that there was a strong smell of cigarette at the beginning.
I only wish all locations offered the same price & released the hold promptly but it’s a great service to use
Worst car rental company ever! Fraud. I also did not receive my refundable deposit from these people. Empire people were not even holding our phone. We had to drop the car which was giving trouble to the garage then they never sent me a replacement car for 6 days. Empire's statement was we are a New York based company and we can not help you outside NY though before renting they said we have great connections with several agencies and can help you anywhere in USA. NO to EMPIRE. not even 1star
I was very happy with my rental experience. It was a relief to find such great customer service at the height of the Christmas season and my last minute booking. I will definitely return to Empire for any future rental needs.
