The vehicle had many stains on the seats. With this virus, it should have been steam cleaned to assure customers that their safety was important and valued. It would also ease the minds of customers who travel to know that this agency is taking every precaution to provide clean and sanitized vehicles for them.
I received a brand new vehicle and it made my trip much more enjoyable. I felt safe and confident that it could handle the unexpected snow. It was a subaru forester.
We rented during a snowy, slick Ketchikan winter. Although not brand new the vehicle was winter ready with good tread on the tires. As experienced Alaskans this is far more important to us than a new car smell. Typically in Anchorage you have to pay extra for snow tires. Not so in Ketchikan from this company! The rental was clean, the staff were knowledgeable, and the jeep had no problem going way out the road or dealing with the snow on those steep Ketchikan roads.

Gave me specific instructions on how to turn on 4WD, and included a snow/ice scraper for me. SO helpful!
Was perfect for everyone. Went shopping and had a lot of stuff so there was just enough room in the van.
The car's driver's seat was very low and uncomfortable, I felt like I was sitting in a bucket. The car felt old and the brakes were squeaky.

While waiting for my boat to arrive at the harbor, I was allowed to keep the car to return the operator to his vehicle without question. Terrific customer service!
