I was disappointed that AAMCAR does not offer an option to purchase adequate liability insurance. They offer $35K for roughly $11/day. $35K is barely any protection at all. It makes me think twice about renting a car from AAMCAR becuause I have no way of adequately insuring against the risk that might arise from an accident. I urge AAMCAR to find another carrier so that it could offer its renters adequate (it used to be $1MM) and reasonably priced liability protection.
Excellent car rental. Faster, cheaper, and more reliable than Avis or Hertz. A best kept secret in NYC!

This is the best car rental place in Manhattan. They always have the reserved car available. Cars are clean and well maintained. Highly recommend them.
