Midtown West Attractions

Radio City Music Hall is located in Midtown West at 1260 Avenue of the Americas. Radio City Music Hall is home to the world-famous Rockettes. Many special events take place at Radio City Music Hall every year, especially around the Christmas season.

Times Square

Times Square sits at 42nd and Broadway in Midtown is the place to be. It hosts the annual New Year's Eve ball drop, and is the home to many different restaurants and shops. Times Square is always crowded and is a much visited location for travelers to the city.

Bryant Park is situated behind the New York Public Library on 40th Street at Sixth Avenue. Designed with a French garden, fountains, and more than 25,000 beautiful flowers, there is much to do while relaxing at the park, including free yoga classes, a chess table, and a French-style carousel.

Museums in Midtown West

The Museum of Arts & Design is a must-see stop for all who love art. Located at 2 Columbus Circle, the museum offers permanent artwork, educational classes, and a 155-seat auditorium overlooking Central Park.

Another museum you are sure to want to visit is the Paley Center for Media, located at 25 West 52nd Street. More than 75 years of music and television is represented at the museum in the form of programs, exhibits as well as screening and listening programs.

The Museum of Modern Art is another excellent choice for museum-goers. This museum sits at 11 West 53rd Street. Inside visitors are treated to a sculpture garden, paintings, sculptures, photographs, and much more. In total, there are more than 135,000 pieces of art on site. This was NYC's first art museum and their library offers over 14,000 books and periodicals dedicated to the art world.
