Besides the courtesy and personal attention, I noticed that renting with a non-airport agency is actually more convenient. Instead of dragging our suitcases out to the shuttle area and waiting anxiously for the right bus, we were picked up at the baggage claim, assisted with bags. We then drove off in the same car, bags still in the trunk. The same thing happened at drop-off. Al drove us straight to the AA check-in with our bags still in the trunk. Airport rentals? Never again!

We were MORE than impressed with our rental. The staff were courteous, knowledgeable and kind. We had a small issue with the vehicle and within minutes a staff member from A Car came to meet us with a new vehicle. My husband had left his sunglasses in the old vehicle and this was at about 4:00 pm on Christmas Eve. The driver called when he was about 1/2 hour away and offered to come all the way back to return the glasses. What a gem! I will DEFINITELY rent with this agency again!!
This was one of the best car rental "experiences" we have had in a long time!!! We were picked up at the Cruise port by Melvin who was professional, friendly and went over and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable. The young woman at the rental office was also very professional and friendly; she answered all of our questions/concerns and made sure that we had everything we needed. Our return was trouble free and we were lucky to have Melvin take us to the airport! ACR is the best by far!!
All of the staff were friendly and helpful. It was very easy to get the shuttle to the rental offfice. The staff provided great suggestions regarding getting gas upon our return, and suggestions for things to do during our stay. It took only a few minutes to pick up and to return our car. The car was in excellent shape and got great gas millage. We will use Sunshine for all of our trips to Florida.
Stop looking. If you want a headache free rental, Globe Car Rental is by far the best and the cheapest (saved $120 from the cheapest price on Expedia). I got picked up within 10 minutes from my call @ the airport. Shuttle itself was clean & driver was courteous. Their branch is along the way into town and on major highway to everything, so no loss of time travelling. Got a Free GPS & the vehicle was a 2013! I was explained the contract and was out in 15 minutes. Return process: Excellent!
I just have to say that your service was excellent, the one gentleman who picked me up at the airport, Benson, was a great guy helpful and courteous. The car a big black SUV substituted for the compact car that I had ordered was perfect for the big city of Dallas. And the gentleman who I met there when I dropped the car off was equally friendly and helpful. The rates were extraordinarily fair. The car was in excellent shape. All in all on a scale of 1-10,, they deserve an 11. Thank You.
We had SUCH a great experience with Sunshine! They really went the extra mile to make us feel welcome and were very knowledgeable about the area and let us on to tips and tricks to get around easily! I got a mid size here for the same price as a compact everywhere else. The shuttle van was super prompt and the driver very friendly! At FLL you have to ride a big shuttle bus to the rental car area no matter what, then the sunshine van picked us up from there. No waiting at all!
