After waiting 30 minutes under the red Hotel sign, we had to call Midway to get our ride. We waited a total of 36 minutes before our ride arrived. Other wise everything went smoothly. They didn't have the car that we requested but gave us a free upgrade.

A little tricky trying to make sure we were in the right place/found the right shuttle, but overall a very smooth experience! The girl at the counter was very, very friendly and very helpful!

When we arrived at the Midway office it took quite sometime before our rental car was ready. I'd say it took a good 20-25 minutes before we could get the rental car, even with an already booked reservation. I have not typically experienced this long of a wait time with other rental car agencies. Also, it took a while for the airport shuttle to arrive both at the airport and at the rental agency.
Second time renting from Midway and they were still great! Only complaint is that the tire pressure light came on during the rental, and I had no idea what that particular warning indicated light. But luckily car drove fine, and these things happen with all cars. Very satisfied with Midway's customer service and value.
Good service and experience
I had to pickup my rental car from San Diego airport and drop off in Los Angeles airport, and would never go with a much larger car rental company such as Avis, Enterprise, etc. I like that Midway isn't as large, and their customer service and low prices are the main reason I will continue returning to them as a customer.
