My flight arrived at 4:30 pm but the local office on Tongass in Ketchikan and the phone lines shut down at 4:00 pm. I only had the 2 phone numbers and the address on Tongass when I arrived. Neither phone was answered. I got a cab ride to the office and it was closed. I couldn’t get my car that first day. When I called the next morning that when I learned there’s a kiosk at the airport. This Mazda was described as mid size but I thought it was very small and it should have been rated lower on the size description. Also the service is due light was on when we picked up and during our rental time. Please be sure they are being adequately services and maintened with old changes etc

The young man who checked out the car to me on 8/2 provided great customer service. He was friendly & efficient,; he gave me excellent info about Ketchikan, AK The woman who checked the car back in on 8/7 was a little gruff and impatient. The car I rented had excellent brakes (better than my car at home), which was very helpful for the hills of Ketchikan. However, it had a very different controls for lighting, parking break, gas tank, etc; it would have helped to have the owner's manual.

The car was not completely full of gas when I received it, so when I returned the car, I had to pay for about 4 extra gallons of gas in order to return the car completely full
